Gabby Zonneveld is a singer/songwriter, and guitarist from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Growing up, she listened to artists like Joss Stone and Amos Lee, and quickly developed an affinity for sultry melodies and clever lyrics. In 2014, this affinity caught the eye of producers for American Idol, and in season 14 she ended up in the top 80 contestants.

Gabby has since moved to New York to study music at SUNY Purchase, and has begun to make alt funk/pop music with her unbelievably talented and incredibly attractive band. With Sean Power on bass, Martine Mauro Wade on drums, and Carey Ozmun on trumpet, they’ve been performing nonstop at venues such as Mercury Lounge, the Knitting Factory, and Rockwood. More recently, Gabby Z had the opportunity to perform in Tokyo at the Technos College Fall Festival, where they began to build their international fan base.

Currently, Gabby Z is working on a debut album.

The first single off the album, “Mythology,” will be dropping in early April.

It is, potentially, the first disco song that will make you cry and count at the same time.
